Hope you all are enjoying this cooler weather! I know I am!
For those of you who weren't at the most recent meeting, Ijust want to fill you in on a few things.
Publicity
Waynoka will be featured in the latest edition of the Eatand Explore Oklahoma Cookbook. It willfeature a recipe for Clara Miller's Cream Pies (yum!) a picture by Mark Carsonfrom this year's rodeo, as well as information about Waynoka. 10's of thousands of copies will be printedand distributed nationwide.
Also, thanks to the City of Waynoka, we have 15,000brochures about Waynoka that we're distributing. We're now a part of three differentdistribution pushes that are operated out of TravelOK.com. 1) Visitors to their website will be able torequest a brochure about Waynoka and receive it in the mail 2) Our brochures will be showcased at the OKC& Tulsa Fairs, Kansas Sports Show, Ft. Worth Vacation Leisure & OutdoorShow 3) Our brochures will be available at 11 different Tourism InformationCenters across state.
We also plan on getting our brochures to all Oklahoma StateParks. If you have any ideas for moregreat places to feature the Waynoka brochure, please let me know! It's exciting to see the brochures on themove, and hopefully bringing Waynoka even more visitors all the time.
This brochure push, as well as this wonderful website, our recently revived Facebook page, and our Twitter account, will hopefully bringall kinds of visitors to all of Waynoka's events, and keep them informed of thegreat variety of goods Waynoka's businesses carry. Friend us, follow us, check the website often,let us know what we can do to help you grow.
Locals shopping locally is the key! Let's show our visitors and our neighbors that we support Waynoka by shopping at home!
