Lawn Mower Races=A fun filled evening!

Last night the races went great! I hope you were able to make it out. There were a few wrecks that were fun to watch, especially since no one got hurt!! Special thanks to Joe Hommerzheim for running the show, and to Chesapeake, Woods County, the Fire Department, John Cole and Hutch's Country Market for their donations to make this event a success.
Trail Ride Becoming a Great Tradition

The Cimarron River Stampede Benefit Trail Ride was a lot of fun last weekend. There were 55 riders who made the trail, with a few minor excitements. Mike Bowers sure knows how to throw a party! And he and his hands did an excellent job with the ride. An extra 25 folks came out for a delicious supper that Joe Hommerzheim and some friends put together. Then we all sat around a campfire and visited, and there were some talented guitar players and singers who made the evening even more fun. I'm already looking forward to the next one!
The Rodeo Committee is working hard and really creating some fun events to raise money for this year's rodeo. Thank you to all of you for your efforts!
